Subject: Change of service times

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

On Sunday July 26 the St. Luke church family held a congregational meeting and discussed the current worship time. As a church family, we voted to move the time of the Sunday morning worship service from 12:30pm, as it has been during the pastoral vacancy, to 9am. This change will go into effect immediately. This means that Sunday August 2 will be the first worship service at 9am. Once Sunday School and Bible Class start up on September 13, those will be after the morning worship service, starting around 10:15am. 

Please help your church leadership spread the word to all of our members about this time change. This change was made to help accommodate as many of our members as possible, as well as to provide a reasonable worship time for guests. We look forward to seeing you bright and early this coming Sunday!

Good Evening, Church Family.

Here is a volunteer opportunity just for you!

This weekend, the Learning Center will begin replacing the outdated flooring in the fellowship area and the main upstairs area. The project will be completed in two phases, beginning with the fellowship area. The Governing Board is asking for volunteers to help this Friday, 7/24, at 6:00 p.m. to move items out of the fellowship area, and again on Sunday, 7/26, after the congregational meeting to put the space back in order—similar to what was done this past weekend for Pastor Prins’ dinner.

The following weekend, volunteers will be needed again on Friday, 7/31, at 6:00 p.m. to move items from the main upstairs area so the flooring work can continue. Help will also be needed after the service on Sunday, 8/2, to put that area back in order.
