St. Luke Lutheran Church stands to share the whole Word of God with our members and, through them, with our community and others.
We stand on the Gospel, that all people are saved by grace through faith, as Martin Luther rediscovered through diligent study of the Bible.
We stand for reading, hearing, and applying the Bible at every stage of life.
We stand because of the past-and-ongoing commitment of our members to pray for, support, and participate in our ministry.
We stand ready to share the Word with others because we are confident in Jesus’ promise and the Holy Spirit’s power.
Bible Verse: Ephesians 6:11: Put on the full armor of God so that you can take
your stand against the devil’s schemes.
Hymn: “Stand Up, Stand Up for Jesus” CW 474, v. 3
